The Chelsea Amateur Radio Club special event station tent is set up directly across from the Chicken Broil entrance.
Special event station call sign W8C "We Ate Chicken" goes on the air to make Amateur Radio contacts across the country. Each Amateur station that makes contact with the W8C event station receives a Chicken Broil QSL certificate. During the QSO, information and history about the Manchester Chicken Broil is given to the contacting station.
