The Chelsea Amateur Radio Club special event station tent is set up directly across from the Chicken Broil entrance.
Special event station call sign W8C "We 8 Chicken" goes on the air to make Amateur Radio contacts across the country. Each Amateur station that makes contact with the W8C event station receives a Chicken Broil QSL certificate. During the QSO, information and history about the Manchester Chicken Broil is given to the contacting station.
